School's been back in session here for two weeks now and we've hit the books hard. My second week I had three exams including one over the delightful Dr Westgard's rules and his cohort(s) Levey-Jennings and their charts. And my online course is one where I have to really press myself to remain interested. It's a gen ed history class and for me it's like getting to fly planes and then trying to be interested in riding a tricycle. They also substantially upped my financial aid this semester, too, which I am sure is due to making the Dean's List (I'm waiting to see if I get an Honors Society invite!

)
Florida was fabulous. I got treated to an awesome time by the BF. We did the Disney thing a la EPCOT and lucked out and saw several great shows including the fish feed (think parade of hungry fish swimming after a diver sprinkling food in her wake), the eagle rays and manatees getting their meals, a Japanese drum demonstration and Chinese acrobats. The Moroccan restaurant was amazing, from the food to the live entertainment.
We then went up the coast and spent a few days in St Augustine which also happens to be the oldest European settlement in the US. Among the things we saw were Ripley's Believe It or Not, the Alligator Farm (which has every known species of crocodilian, and one big-ass saltwater croc named Maximo, plus you can feed the baby crocs and alligators and then go to the 'swamp' and feed the 6-footer alligators there. So fun!), the Castillo de San Marcos, the Spanish Military Hospital (fascinating), the local history museum and we also blundered onto the gorgeous little shrine of St Photios while meandering down St George St. So much fun! I also enjoyed meeting his family. They were very welcoming.

And I've now made Josh an official convert the awesomeness of Guy Gardner and the GLs!
Hope life has been treating you all well!
